Giving back is part of what we do at Artist Career Training. It's important because over the years many artists and others in the arts community have been very supportive of us and we appreciate it.
One of the ways we give back is by having this Affiliate Program. It's an easy way for us to say "Thanks for being part of the community and for supporting us!" and an easy way for you to be rewarded for your referrals and kind words. It's a "win-win" and we love it!
We are looking for established business people who have a track record of successfully offering products, services, and advice to fine artists and whose goal is to make a living from their art and to help others benefit from what they know.
However, if you see this as a quick path to making money without much effort on your part, we know from past experience that this type of arrangement rarely works well.
As a potential affiliate, you must meet several criteria to be accepted. You must have
- An established fine art business
- A sizeable mailing list
- Active marketing and promotion in place for your business
- A track record of sales from your art
- A track record of sales from your products/services that are designed to help other fine artists, or a track record of sales from your other affiliate partnerships
- A blog that shares art marketing advice with other artists
If you are just starting out, a hobbyist who dreams of a career in the arts, or someone who fits in their art around their other life priorities, we're rooting for you! We suggest you work to establish yourself and your art busines (click here, we can help with that!) and then contact us about becoming an affiliate.
Here's How Our Affiliate Program Works:
You will have to apply to the program and if approved, you can earn 30% on every sale from www.ArtistCareerTraining.com and www.ArtBusinessLibrary.com (except coaching fees*) by referring people to our websites via links (text or graphics) that you place on your website, in your email campaigns, or as part of your online advertising. That 30% is generous compared to other affiliate programs that generally offer 5-20%. Like we said, we want to give back to artists and businesses who support artists.
Commission are paid monthly, you get a check from A.C.T. when you've got $50 or more in commissions and you are notified by email when you do. You can check your sales and commissions at any time, we'll give you a username and password to our Affiliate Program Resources page.
*Sorry, but there is no commission paid on coaching fees. Our coaching fees are very reasonably priced, and we wouldn't be able to offer coaching if we were to pay out a portion of the fees (many of which go to our coach mentors and associates).
Getting Started (is easy):
- Read all the information on this page.
- Click the link for the signup form, complete it, and look for a confirmation email in your inbox.
- We will review your application within two business days, and will email you back with a "yes" or a "no."
- If you are approved, we'll send you an email with information on how to log into the Affiliate Program Resources page where you'll find everything you need to get set up.
- Use the resources to add links to your website.
- Login to the resources page anytime to check your commissions!
