Kathyanne White, Fiber Art

Kathyanne White is a full time artist living in Prescott, Arizona, that brings a fresh, unusual energy to fiber art. Her work is shown nationally in galleries and exhibitions. Her dedication to textiles has been a life long process of passion, which is evident by the intensity with which she approaches her work.

"The biggest challenge that I face is finding the right market to consistently sell work. Textiles are still not as mainstream as painting, but they are definitely gaining ground. I also face the challenge of keeping my office organized and getting an inventory system that really works for me. I think I am half way there," she said." Recently I have had a museum show, and I have two museum shows coming up next year, one is a solo exhibition. I am also in the process of getting a piece collected by the American Craft Museum in New York City."
